I have been lucky to capture several of my fellow Warner Robins High School Alumni’s weddings. When Kelly contacted me, I was so excited that she wanted me to be a part of her wedding! With Kelly in Jacksonville and Chris in Atlanta, planning a wedding long distance can have its challenges but these two made it happen! Kelly was planning to move to Atlanta before the wedding, which meant an Atlanta wedding!
Between the engagement session, early morning coffee date and venue walk through together. The excitement for their big day was growing!
December 19th arrived and we had a perfect winter morning to start the festivities off! I met Kelly and her girls at the Loews Hotel in downtown Atlanta. From there we took the trolley to Inman Park United Methodist Church. If you have never been you should plan a visit! The stone work is stunning! We had the afternoon for photos and could not have been more thankful for the gorgeous sunlight we received. When it was ceremony time the entire sanctuary was filled with family and friends! My favorite part during the ceremony was when Chris and Kelly where given a rugby ball with their names and wedding date. The minister shared the story of how Chris and Kelly met playing rugby at UGA.
Off we went to the Piedmont Room at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park for the reception! The entire night was filled with delicious food, an awesome band, toasts, and the BEST dance moves from our very own bride and groom!
I am so thankful to be a part of their story and honored to have captured their beautiful day!
